I have been in the band over 20 years and loved every minute. There have been many highlights but playing at the Albert Hall watched by my late father was a special one.
By day I work for the local authority and in my spare time I enjoy watching sport, listening to heavy metal and having the odd pint or two!
I am married to the long suffering Rob who isn't a bandie but thankfully his sister is so he has no excuse not to come to the odd contest or two.
As an ex-farmer (by name) it's no wonder I've been the recipient of the Agricultural Award on a few occasions however my colleague, Jason Wilton is taking over the mantle. I thoroughly enjoy my banding and am grateful to St. Austell for providing me the opportunity to work with some greats such as David Loukes, Richard Evans and Dr. Roy Newsome. I am a St. Austell girl and proud to play for our town band.
